Director, Bulldog Club

Samford University | Birmingham, AL

June 2025 - Present

  • Lead content strategy for the Bulldog Club newsletter and external marketing communications, producing messaging and creative assets that increase brand visibility and drive donor participation

  • Executed a new Athletics Giving Day strategy by investing in a targeted QR-code mailer campaign sent to 630 donors, generating 725 clicks and $19K in contributions, generating significant return on investment and a major lift in donor engagement

  • Leverage donor data and analytics to identify trends, uncover new donor segments, and optimize outreach strategies that expand the Bulldog Club’s fundraising impact

  • Serve as a thought leader in creating mission-driven events and engagement initiatives that unite donors and student-athletes, enhancing loyalty and retention across both communities

Marketing Intern

  • Designed and contributed visual and written assets for 5+ high-value project pursuits and interviews, enhancing proposal quality and reinforcing Brasfield & Gorrie’s brand identity

  • Developed multiple sector-specific brochures, project sheets, resumes, and presentations using Adobe Creative Cloud and PowerPoint, supporting business development initiatives across multiple markets

  • Managed and organized project photography, pursuit data, and personnel records in Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset, improving asset accessibility and data reliability

  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and administrative staff to deepen industry knowledge and strengthen internal communication

    Using the company standard label template in Adobe InDesign, I took the liberty to name our heavy duty paper cutter "Darlene", which gave the office a little bit of life
